Terms and Conditions for "Suites"
These terms and conditions are effective as of [X] February 2026.
The following terms and conditions apply if you make a booking for VIP suite services (Suites Services) provided by us at Terminal 1, Sydney International Airport (Airport).
- In these terms and conditions, ‘us’, ‘we’ and ‘our’ refer to Sydney Airport Corporation Limited ABN 62 082 578 809.
- Please ensure you read these terms and conditions carefully as they form a contract between you and us when you make a booking.
- If you are making a booking on behalf of or in relation to any other person, you must ensure that all such persons are aware of and agree to these terms and conditions. If you or any person under your booking do not agree with any of these terms and conditions, we may not be able to provide the Suites Services.
Summary of Key Terms
While not a substitute for reading and understanding the entirety of these terms and conditions in full, we wish to bring the following key provisions to your attention:
- you may change or cancel your booking up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to its commencement without penalty;
- if you change your booking less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to its commencement, you will be charged a late change fee of 20% of the total booking fee;
- requests to change your booking are subject to availability and operational constraints, and not guaranteed;
- if you cancel your booking:
- between twenty-four (24) and forty-eight (48) hours prior to your booking, you will be charged a late cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking fee; and
- if you cancel less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to your booking, you will be charged a late cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking fee;
- we may need to cancel your booking for security, safety or operational reasons and will give reasonable advance notice;
- we may cancel your booking if you or any persons under your booking breach these terms and conditions, including the requirements to access VIP areas set out in these terms and conditions; and
- we may cancel your booking if you do not provide a valid payment method within required timeframes.
Making Bookings
- Bookings for the Suites Services may only be made via the booking service provided by us (Booking Service) at our website located at [insert link] (Booking Site). Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance or as otherwise advised by us in writing.
- You must provide us with all information that is required for us to provide the Suites Services, including promptly providing all information that is required by law or reasonably requested by us. It is your responsibility to check and confirm that all information provided is correct and up to date. You acknowledge and agree that we may not be able to provide the Suites Services where prohibited by law or where insufficient information is provided.
- You must provide us with valid payment details when making your booking. A pre-authorisation hold for the full amount of your booking (which will be advised at the time of booking) will be placed on the payment method nominated by you six (6) days prior to the date of your booking. If you book less than six (6) days prior to the date that you will use the Suites Services, the pre-authorisation amount will be processed at the time of booking. If the pre-authorisation does not work, we will request an updated payment method by email and if this is not rectified at least 48 hours prior to the booking, your booking will be cancelled.
- The fees payable for the Suites Services (including GST) will be deducted from the payment method nominated at the time of booking within twenty-four (24) hours after the Suites Services have been provided.
- You will also be charged a credit card, debit card or PayPal payment fee which will be a small percentage of the Suites Services fees and reflects our cost in processing your payment. The fee varies depending on the payment method and is set as follows: Visa - 0.9%, MasterCard – 0.9%, American Express - 1.6%, Diners Club – 2.4%, PayPal – 1%. The same fees as card issuers will be charged for payments made via GooglePay or Apple Pay.
Booking Changes and Cancellations
Changes
- You may change your booking for any reason up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to its commencement. After this time, you will be charged a late change fee of 20% of the total booking fee (Late Change Fee).
- We will attempt to accommodate requests to change bookings, however, the Suites Services are subject to availability and operational constraints, and changes are not guaranteed.
Cancellations
- You may cancel your booking for any reason up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to its commencement. After this time, the following cancellation fees will apply:
- if you cancel between forty-eight (48) and twenty-four (24) hours prior to your booking, you will be charged 50% of the total booking fee; and
- if you cancel less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to your booking, you will be charged 100% of the total booking fee,
(Late Cancellation Fees).
- We reserve the right to cancel your booking if:
- required for security, safety or operational reasons, including if it is not possible for Australian Border Force (ABF) to facilitate the booking. To the extent possible, we will give reasonable advance notice if we are required to cancel your booking for this reason; and
- you or any persons under your booking breach these terms and conditions, including the requirements in clauses 19 and 20.
Change and Cancellation Process
- You may change or cancel your booking using the following steps:
- going to the Booking Site;
- clicking on the “Manage Booking” hyperlink;
- following the prompts, including entering the email address used to make your booking and your booking reference number; and
- using the secure link that will be sent to your provided email address to change or cancel your booking.
Deduction of Payment
- In addition to any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, we will not charge you for your booking where:
- we are required to cancel your booking for safety, security or operational reasons under clause 12.a;
- we are unable to accommodate a valid request to change your booking under clause 9, except to deduct any applicable late change fee; and
- you cancel your booking under clause 11, except to deduct any applicable late cancellation fee.
- For the avoidance of doubt, but subject to any rights you have under law including under the Australian Consumer Law, we will deduct payment for your booking under clause 14 where:
- you change or cancel your online reservation with less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to its commencement to deduce late change or cancellation fess;
- you do not attend the Airport on the day or at the time of the booking; or
- you or any persons under your booking breach these terms and conditions and are removed from the VIP Areas.
- We may waive applicable Late Change Fees and Late Cancellation Fees (at our sole discretion) if you provide evidence to demonstrate that a late change or cancellation was caused by factors beyond your reasonable control.
Suites Services and Access to VIP Areas
- As part of the Suites Services, we will:
- provide you and persons under the booking with access to a suite within the Airport; and
- provide complimentary parking for up to one (1) vehicle per booking. Parking must be prearranged with us by providing the driver and registration details a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours prior to the commencement of the booking. Additional parking may be arranged and will be charged at a rate of $100 per vehicle, per hour.
- Subject to availability and passenger requirements, the Suites Services may also include private screening by ABF and facilitation from your ground transport to your gate. Other than the services set out in clause 17, the scope and nature of the Suites Services may change from time to time at our discretion.
- Persons under your booking may also be given access to certain VIP-specific areas (VIP Areas). Our staff have the discretion to refuse entry to any person to a VIP Area if, in their reasonable opinion, this is necessary for the orderly operation of the VIP Area or for the safety or comfort of others. You acknowledge and agree that:
- identification may be required to be shown prior to entering a VIP Area;
- you must not allow any person who is not included under your booking to access a VIP Area; and
- you are liable for any loss or damage to a VIP Area caused by you and any person included under your booking, except to the extent that this is contributed to by us.
- You must comply (and ensure that all persons under your booking comply) with any instructions given by us or our staff. Without limitation, you must not, and must ensure that all persons under your booking:
- attempt to access any restricted areas of the Airport;
- disrupt the normal operation of the Airport or the safety or security of other persons accessing the Airport;
- bring into food and/or beverage (including liquor) into the VIP Areas without our prior approval;
- smoke (including the use of electronic cigarettes, vapes and similar products) under any circumstances;
- engage in any filming and/or photography activities unless written approval is received from us prior to the booking date;
- remain in the VIP Areas or leave any personal belonging after the booking period ends; and
- attempt to bring guests not included on your booking into the VIP Area.
Liability and Australian Consumer Law
- In addition to the liability we accept under clause 23, we accept liability up to the amount of the fees paid by you for the Suites Services for any loss, damage, personal injury, property damage or expense you suffer or incur, to the extent these arise directly from our breach of these terms, from our breach of law, or from our negligence or wilful misconduct in connection with the Suites Services. We do not otherwise accept any liability to you or persons included under your booking, whether in contract, negligence or on any other basis.
- Without limiting any rights you might have under the Australian Consumer Law, we do not give any warranties in respect of the Suites Services or Booking Service.
- The Suites Services and Booking Service may come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, and if we breach those guarantees, you have rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Notwithstanding this, our liability to you in connection with any breach of such guarantees is, at our option, limited to:
- the supplying of the Suites Services or Booking Service (as the case may be) again; or
- the payment of the cost of having the Suites Services or Booking Service (as the case may be) supplied again.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any failure or delay in performing the Suites Services and Booking Service to the extent caused or contributed to by anything outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- flight cancellations, delays and other changes;
- weather events; or
- any actions of, or directions, approvals or non-approvals issued by, government authorities such as Australian Border Force and the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
Privacy and Personal Information
- You acknowledge and agree that:
- we will collect your personal information, the personal information of guests included in the booking and third parties providing ground transportation services for the guests, for the purpose of facilitating the booking and providing the Suites Services;
- we may disclose such personal information to Australian Border Force and our partners where required for the purposes described above;
- you have obtained consent from all guests and third-party services providers included in the booking to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information for those purposes; and
- prior to collecting their personal information, you will notify all guests and third-party services providers of the matters required under Australian Privacy Principle 5 of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and will provide them with a copy of the Suites Collection Notice, which can be found here: [insert link].
- We will handle personal information in accordance with our Suites Collection Notice, which can be found here: [insert link] and as otherwise set out in our privacy policy, which can be found here: https://www.sydneyairport.com.au/info-sheet/privacy.
- You acknowledge and agree that the provision of the Suites Services requires you to provide certain details such as names, flight details, number of persons travelling and contact details. We are not liable for any delay or failure in providing the Suites Services to the extent such delay or failure is caused or contributed to by the information that you have provided being inaccurate, outdated or incomplete.
General
- The Suites Services are not intended to limit or replace any assistance which we offer to passengers with disabilities or accessibility needs. Please contact us if you require such assistance.
- We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time for future bookings by posting updated terms and conditions to our website (without notice to you) at: [insert link]. Any changes to these terms and conditions will apply only to bookings made through our website after the update is posted and will not apply to any prior bookings.
- The terms and conditions that apply to your booking are those that were posted on our website at the time your booking was made. We recommend you read these terms and conditions carefully at the time of every booking.
- Regardless of where you may be when you make your booking, the laws of New South Wales apply to these terms and conditions and the courts based there shall have jurisdiction. You waive any right to claim that such courts represent an inconvenient forum.
- These terms and conditions (and any documents referred to within these terms and conditions) are the whole agreement between us and will, to the extent permitted by law, supersede or extinguish any other agreements, undertakings, representations or warranties relating to its subject matter.
- If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be illegal, void, invalid or unenforceable at law, the legality, validity and enforceability of the remainder of these terms and conditions is not affected.
